The cool down times are ridiculous. Barely even started and cant play for more then 20 seconds without waiting. Whats the point of needing more teleport energy when you only use one every time you play? Vampire war is so much better then this, I would be ashamed to release this game the way it is.

The game framework is freaking awesome! But this game is completely ruined by poor tech support. Bug reports will be responded to quickly but have never been helpful. They tend to give inaccurate response and appear uninformed because they will deny the bug exists even when it is server wide and been present for days. Many bugs I have seen have never been fixed.

The biotic units fail to attack nearly every time they are used. The items you need must be looted, but they are rarely gained. Training the captains requires too much time. The airforce units are the best units to have when they are fully charged, but biotic units seem to miss charging them all the time! You cannot fully upgrade your buildings because you will not have enough space in your base. Development is too difficult for the higher level players will attack your base incessantly so that they get honor pts, and you lose resources and units. This game prevents advancement too well.

Dont know what with all te complaining . First game is free. Second you can play an have fun without spending money if you want. Third there is lots to do when you learn the game. Fourth there are rules in place to keep much bigger players from attacking you! Fifth its a great time killer an compared to other similar games its just as fun! In short give it a real try an if you like these kind of game like I do you will like this as well. For me an easy 5 star

With tons of depth, and play that is geared toward casual gaming without limiting its appeal to more hardcore gamers, Avalon Wars is definitely a hit. A few minor bugs cant get in the way of me enjoying this diamond in the rough. Download it. Run through the quick tutorial. You wont regret it.

This is a good game, its a bit like "Emross Wars", though its definitely better. Requires more strategy than most games. I really did and do like playing this game and have for almost 8 months, but recently they decided to have in game moderators and have given them an unfair advantage by giving them weapons that are not available to the rest of us and other perks that we all have to work for. This would maybe be ok if he was impartial but he is the legion head of a pretty strong group. I will change my rating back when this unfair play has been corrected

This is a great game. IFree is choosing to let it die by not merging servers and updating it. Too much time investment with little payback.

Its a great game, and its the best game of its genre that I have yet played! There a couple of technical bits that stop it from reaching its potential, but the gameplay, mechanics and overall play value are fantastic, honestly Im also a huge fan of the 90s scifi appearance and drawings, its a great break from the rest of the stuff that us coming out, great job, keep it up!

Avalon Wars is, in essence, an interesting and addicting game. You build up your base and army over time, getting better generals, units, and equipment to become stronger and defeat other players in battle. There are also legions you can join, which allow you to learn from other players and improve as a group. Although the combat system is hands-off (you click to fight someone and see what happens), it remains interesting, and there is plenty of motivation to keep improving. Up to a point. The developers, ifree, have done a horrible job running and maintaining this game. They have implemented a legion battle system called "bounty" that has killed activity on older servers and will do the same for newer ones. Essentially, the system gives a large daily bonus (24,000 credits) to the largest legion, allowing it to grow stronger at a faster rate than any other legion. Although it is supposed to be a "legion battle" system, there is little actual battling between legions, for a legion that fights a rival one and loses gets nothing for 3 days until the next battle (they could probably settle for a smaller reward of 3k, 6k, or 12k credit/day instead of fighting a losing battle). The aggregation of monetary advantages builds up the large legion until members from other legions grow tired of getting beaten up, lose interest, and quit. Instead of fixing this poorly thought-out system, ifree attempts to placate players with poorly thought-out events meant to encourage the buying of domistals, the shortcut currency of the game that you can buy with real-life money. It doesnt work. I want this game to be great. But ifree doesnt share this desire. They seem content to squeeze as much money as possible out of one server, then move on to the next. Would I recommend playing this game? Probably not. Its very addicting, but the frustration ifrees incompetent management of this game causes will probably outweigh the enjoyment that the game can provide. However, the game is free, so feel free to give it a try. If you do choose to play, DONT spend any money on this game. Ifree doesnt deserve the positive reinforcement, and yours will be a wasted investment when there is almost no activity on your server. tl;dr: Good concept, horrendous management. Definitely not worth spending money on.

Played for about 8 months and found that it was a repetative uphill battle. Like the guy below said it allows 1 legion and 1 legion only to become strong until everyone else quits and that 1 legion is left standing. Ifree has NO support whatsoever and refuses to take care of issues like hacking or cheating. So please do not waste your time and money. Move on to another game

I spent a lot of time playing this game and a lot of money getting built up. It was entertaining for a bit and competitive. Then the game started having multiple "bugs" I purchased things I never received, won items that I never received and customer service did absolutely nothing to help. The service is terrible and its truly a waste of time and money. If youre looking for a game that punishes long time players, doesnt reward with legit item drops, fails to pay money owed at the end of battles and is uber slow then this is the game for you!
